This Privacy Policy applies to the public website, live map and authenticated pilot areas operated by BOX Virtual. BOX Virtual is a non-commercial flight simulation community and is responsible for the processing described here.

When the website is requested, the hosting infrastructure may process technical information required to deliver and secure the service. This can include your IP address, date and time, requested URL, referrer, browser and operating-system information, response status and transferred data volume.
These server records are used for reliable operation, troubleshooting and protection against misuse. They are not used to build advertising profiles.
If you choose to sign in, you are redirected to vAMSYS. After successful authorisation, vAMSYS provides the limited account information needed to identify you and make the requested pilot functions available, such as pilot ID, display name and role or rank.
BOX Virtual does not receive or store your vAMSYS password. Activity performed directly on vAMSYS is governed by the vAMSYS Privacy Policy.
A technically necessary session cookie may be set after login. It keeps your authenticated session associated with your browser and is not used for advertising. The website may also use local browser storage for interface preferences or local fallback state.
You can remove cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Removing a login session will sign you out.
The BOX Virtual live map uses CARTO map tiles and OpenStreetMap data. The map itself is displayed with Leaflet.
